Merc - Minions on the Mountaintops

Discussion in 'Bongs, Dab Rigs, Bubblers, Water Pipes' started by GlassOtaku, Jan 14, 2013.

  1. As glass collectors become more and more discerning the concept of the vinyl toy-inspired waterpipes has taken the industry by storm. With each artist trying to stake their own claim in the newly budding market, longtime veteran Merc storms forward confidently into the scene with his newest line of Minion waterpipes. Each hand-made with it's own distinct features, name, and even their own life-story. I was recently given the opportunity two take to of his mongrels Bobo and Gonthour up to the mountains overlooking Mercs studio the Art Mind Collective in Boulder, CO.

    Gonthour
Full bodied Alien rig standing at about 7" tall.

Each piece is made to impeccable standards. Not only made to look like a piece of fine art each waterpipe is made to function like a fine italian sports car. Like your favorite macro-sized ripper each Minion provides that condensed diffusion you love. So if you're looking to get a new piece that actually has some character, look no further than Merc's new inspiring line of Minions. 5. Hey guys this is Babbs,
Merc has been making characters and figures since back in 2008. He has been collecting vinyl toys for several years. He strayed away from doing munnys and dunnys, preferring to create his own one of a kind figures. Thanks so much for checking them out
thanks Glass Otaku for the shout out as well, we haven't been active on Grasscity but i can see it will be good to hop on here now and then!

    The new line includes
    Micro Mongrels-tiny 3-4"
    Menacing Mongrels-small-5-7"
Custom Menacing Mongrels-small with baseball cap dabbers and worked domes
    and
    Mongrels-a range of larger sizes-8-12"

Stores with Mongrels currently available are:

    Wonderland, FL
    Daze, NY
    Carbon Glass Tech, FL
    Eddies Headies, MO
    Empire Smokeshop, CA

I think everyone else is sold out! If there is a store in your town that does not carry them let us know and we'll see what we can work out....

I'll post some more pics of these guys:)

    Thx again,

  10. Usually not into these crazy ones, but I could def dab out of a rig with a sniper:)

  11. @senta420-These are ranging in price retail from 600.00-4000.00....we have the micro mongrels, which were intended to create a space for people to purchase the work without having to spend too much....

  12. So the theme isn't my cup o tea but I just wanted to say the obvious this is some pretty sic fn glass work my mang!

How much time is involved in a piece if ya don't mind me inquiring?

Keep it real... the askin prices seem down to earth to me.

  13. Thanks mang!! It's sort of hard to estimate exact time cause it's a many stepped process. Several hours but also the years I've put into dialing in my sculpting skills...appreciate you checking it out -Merc
