  1. Cotdamn you ain't heard that one?!

    I might've just made your year :smoking:

  2. I'm from West Africa, do you mind if I post some?

  3. Some Modern Soukous from the Democratic of Congo (then Zaire). I love the guitars! A lot of interesting things about Congolese Music, it was the first genre of music to be panafrican, to create the sebene (which is typically executed on the electric guitar) a group of young college students decided to adopt the instrumental section from classic rock and added to upgrade their music. It's very good!

    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRxjdksA2Zw]Kanda Bongo Man - Bayembi - YouTube[/ame]

    Kanda Bongo Man is very popular in the World Music world. The guitarist here is the stellar Diblo Dibala.

    I'm not from Africa, and I'd prefer if you did :hello::smoking:

    I don't know how many people here already listen to African music, so any contributions are welcome.

    I have some friends from Liberia that own a restaurant in the city where I live.

    I'm actual from Liberia, I have a youtube channel where I post the best dance music of Africa its called soukousman, the music is very good.

    Here's some Chill Congolese Rumba, this is classic mid 80's rumba from Franco (he's the like the greatest musician from Democratic Republic of Congo (Franco) you must listen more of this music from the 60's towards 1989 which was his death.
