Best thick glass brand?

  1. What is the best thick glass brand and what is the thickest glass i could get?

I just bought an MGW 5mm but that's not a bong which i feel comfortable with at parties. I would like a bong (probably with no perc) that is thick- really really thick. I would take 12mm glass if i could. Does that even exist or is 9mm the best i can do. i no 9mm is good enough for this purpose but i also like the feel of a bong that could be used to slay an elk in my hand .

  2. Might wanna look at the unbreakable plastics(i dont mean cheap acrylics). If you are that worried about breaking id say skip glass and get the jet i think its called

  3. US Tubes 9mm beaker or straight is about the most sturdy piece of glass for the price you can get.

honestly, I feel like I could knock someone out with my 18" 50x5mm SG tube without it breaking. I can only imagine how beastly a 9mm US Tube would feel in your hands.

  4. im only partially worried about that. I mostly just want a thick hunk of glass in my hands

  5. ^thats wat she said.
I've got a 9mm SYN straight tube ice notched only. And like everyone else said, I could see someone's head breaking before that bong in a fight. Haha

  6. 9mm, or try the jet or steele (Looks a bit better to me) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOSBijZW86M]Steele Concept - Product Tour - YouTube[/ame]

  7. These are what's up:

I know they're only 7mm, but they have the 29mm joint, which is usually the weakest part of a tube. I'd use one for a baseball bat, no doubt.

  8. it seems like US tubes is the standard in thick glass. those bongs have eniform thickness even at the joints?

  9. idk if you would consider this, but my helix bong has really really thick glass.

  10. I forget how thick my syn was, but it was tough son of a bitch. Always felt comfortable with at parties

  11. ^my friend owns a 16" 5mm SYN straight w/ Alex K diffy, and gets thrown in a backpack and brought everywhere.

  12. Haha I use to keep mine in a backpack too, and it took plenty of falls from longboarding and such. But no cracks or anything, great piece too.

No to all of the above

Find a local head shop that sells Governmint, it's quality glass, some of their styles are 9mm and some are even a good amount thicker than that. you could drop that shit off an office building without it breaking

Unfortunately there aren't any good websites they're showcased on, but anyone who knows about them can tell you if you're looking for unbreakable glass that's the brand to get

  14. 9mm is the thickest they come , they can be melted thicker like the mouthpiece

  15. "ZOB" hands down

  16. This man speaks the truth. Looked at one personally and Im impressed. They gather the glass at the beaker, so while the beaker is at least 9mm, the 60mm tube is usually 10mm.

    Next up is US Tubes.
Then 7mm glass from Illadelph and other high quality brands. 7mm high quality>9mm low quality

  17. Try Mio. The strongest glass I've ever seen. I walked into Illuzions in Denver and they showed off the Mio brand's sturdiness by bashing it against the floor several times. Super impressive build quality. And it looks absolutely thick as fuck ;)

  18. No, that's completely misguided. Illadelph is simply a brand name. US tubes 9mm is boroscilate just like Illadelph 7mm.

  19. Take a look at Hoss. They have fairly sturdy bongs.
