If I fly between Colorado and Washington...

  1. So guys,

Weird questions but it gets me thinking, if I fly between Colorado and Washington with seeds or even weed, will TSA bust me?

Since the law in both states permits weed/seeds, I'm not doing anything illegal. It's like bringing a pack of cig to the plane. What do you guys think?:confused::confused:

  2. not worth risking, you may as well personally ask security there

  3. damn that's a good question. My guess is no, you wont be allowed to take it. The airspace over colorado and washington is U.S. airspace--not necessarily Colorado's or Washington. As you know, weed is illegal by federal law (fuckers) Plus, even if each state were to "own" its own airspace, you would still be crossing other states where marijuana is illegal.

So my guess is no but you should still ask TSA. But for god sake, don't have the weed on you when you ask. And don't be high either..that will just make you paranoid as fuck :hide:

  4. tsa = federal
    /thread

  5. marijuana is illegal under federal law and TSA agents are agents of the federal government. Same goes for anything else federal. You cant have marijuana on you on anything in which the federal government has direct jurisdiction even in Washington or Colorado, like a post office, Amtrak train, national park, etc.

  6. When I saw the thread title -- "If I fly between Colorado and Washington..." -- I thought you were going to ask if you could blaze on the plane!

    Now THAT would be epic.:smoking:

  7. You have no idea how many times I have thought of doing that lol... Edibles is sort of a solution though, at least it was enjoyable for me to pound down a couple of 1.5g brownies before getting on my last 16 hour flight. Haha, at one point it felt like I melted slowly into the seat and a few hours into the flight me and the seat was one.

  8. I smoke one hitters in the work bathroom, a long line of progression that started with club bathrooms (usually it follows a 'Place A bathroom - Place A in the open - Place B bathroom' pattern). If I carry on doing dumb shit, soon I'll be trying it on a plane.:smoke:

  9. That article specifically mentions the Colorado Red Card, but doesn't go on to state whether other state airports TSA officials will be following the same guidelines or not. Am I to assume this is only applicable to those traveling out of a Colorado based airport?

  10. @fluge This is great! Thanks for info. But I wasn't in the category of med MJ. I guess the lines are loosen day after day and maybe one day we can do it legally.

If it's not medical, it's a no-go... and if it is medical, I believe you are required to alert them beforehand, which most patients I'm aware of do (or it's at least recommended, most likely so when you're caught with your meds, you don't miss your flight, wind up in jail, and waste their time/money).

They don't allow you to bring open (or in many cases if purchased outside the airport, even closed) bottles of alcohol on a plane either, and that was before 9/11. Legal issues... and of course the bonus of making $$ on alcohol sold in-flight.

Until you're a patient, or until you can buy a bag at the airport shops 'duty free' and it's included under those rules (imagine that
:D), you're out of luck.

  12. hold it with your buttcheeks

  13. Your crazy. I will see you inside the wall:hello:

  14. TSA is federal and most flights have connections in other states so I would say no.
