    Hi everyone,
This is the first time i have ever grown cannabis. I have grown this sativa dominant strain which my dealer said is from burma... i have no clue if its burmese kush or not..but most probably not. I planted them outdoor during spring (february). and the white hairs started to appear during late autumn (october). from 18th october to be precise. It's 29th november now and the winter is almost here. The plant has almost no leaf left other than the bud leafs. Please check out the attached photos and let me know what you think. Should I harvest them now or wait for a while? Btw, I am going to buy a magnifying glass today to see the trichomes.
    Thanks :)

  2. Without a scope one way is to go by the hairs. If they changed color and pulled back into the bud that is one way to tell they are either ready or very close to it. In few of the pics it looks like you might have spider mites. The little white dots all over some of the leaves in a few pics along with what looks like a spider web strand going from one leaf to another.

  3. Hi!
Thanks a lot... i will get the magnifying glass and check. Btw some white hairs have turned red already, and yes i also had a doubt that they could be spider mites. I am gonna google a solution for it, it would be awesome if you could share any effective solution in fighting the spider mites.
    Thanks again Bro :)

  4. that far into flowering i would stay safe an use an insecticidal soap ...by the way they look like they are at least 3 weeks away....they will bust out even more!!!

    thing of beauty!!!

  5. I use pyrethrin concentrate. It kills alot of different kinds of bugs shortly after contact and breaks down within a few hours of spraying outdoors from the sun light. There are also other store bought and homemade sprays that work some take time though. Where I live we deal with spider mites outdoors every year and they can be a pain in the ass. The best you can do most of the time outdoors is spray and give your plants a systemic feed to help keep them in check from becomming an infestation. Azamax works well as both a systemic feed and a spray but for spraying I use pyrethrin and use Azamax as a feed. Azamax is a more refined type of neem oil and can be pricey, pyrethrin is fairly cheap if you can get it there. Both can be used right upto a day before harvest. Just dont mix it to strong or you can burn your plants and always spray just before the sun goes down or shortly before it comes up.

  6. Id let it sit for another month to let the buds puff up
