throat gets too dry and achey after smoking now

    i've been smoking weed for years now, but now I notice that after just one small bong rip my throat dries the hell out and starts aching when I swallow the rest of the night.. I usually have to sleep it off and dry again tommorow... but its beginning to be such a burden that I dont even wanna smoke

    any idea why this is?

    How long has that been happening? Perhaps you're getting sick. If its been happening for a while perhaps you should switch devices? Try a vaporizer maybe.

    When was the last time you took a break? Have you tried cough drops, drinking liquid, cepacol are drops that numb your throat, or maybe something to stop dry mouth.(i found mints that stopped dry mouth before.)

    I am on a t break right now because i have smoked right through my tonsil problems. Now any bit of smoke makes me cough and gag like a little bitch. So i am letting them heal for a bit and get the swelling down.

    When I am getting sick this happens but also happens if I get a batch of really harsh weed. Try using hot steamy water in your bong.

    Yeah i have had a throat infection the past week or so.. I figure thats probably the reason. I guess ill take a few more days off ahah

    Lame this will be my reality. 48 hours into strep throat. Normally would be anti doctor. CBF, no time to be sick, went straight on antibiotics today.


    had a small cone at 9am, and a small one now. throats sore as fuck, but so worth it lol. Sucking on strepsils too.

    yes I did revive this thread lol.
