  1. How much aloe vera leaf is needed when making a botanical tea to feed my plants?? Im using 4 gallons of water size leaf would you use? How long does aloe vera take to produce off shoots? I just purchased one and Im in love with this plant. I will be ordering my next 2 aloe plants. I want to know exactly what species it is... I cant wait to propogate!

  2. Hello anybody out there? Help

  3. i dont make teas for anything other than drinking so cant tell ya and i also havent grown any aloe in years so i dont really know how long, i say appreciate the beauty of your aloe and just see for yourself, unless someone else answers

also, forums are awesome but they arent something you can expect to get a response on in a day mostly, Grasscity is the most active forums i know of and even on here the gardening section can be quite slow... just gotta post and move on, waiting patiently for a response - welcome to the forums though man

  4. Patience is something Ive been working on! lol...especially maintaining plants...thanks I'll wait and see maybe it will open up doors for other people that grow all types of plants.

  5. I have no knowledge in quantity to use in teas. I usually wing it with seaweed and aloe additions because they are tough to overdue. I do know that your aloe plant will naturally shoot off it's own little ones in around a year.

  6. I liked to scrape the gel into one of the cups of my magic bullet blender and blend it with water to emulsify it before adding it to the water.

I never really kept track of how much I used though, probably a few large leaves per 5gal bucket.

It has a lot of good enzymes, hormones and micros from what I've gathered.

  7. 1/4 cup of aloe vera juice per gallon of water seems to be the standard.
