I have been growing my plants for about 3-4 weeks now and they are probly 12 cm tall. I feel like they should be a bit bigger i had them under a 24 watt bulb and now i added a 75 watt. What kind of light should be over the seedlings any suggestions help. thanks
This really depends on how many plants you have. I agree with what ^^^ said. However, if you are only growing one plant, you can easily use 100 to 250 watts at this stage. I was using 400 watts on just two plants starting at about 3 weeks of vegging. The more light the better provided that you have proper cooling.
Unless you have a veg room and a flower room, I've seen no problem starting them on the same ight strength they will finish with. Well unless you live in Hawaii or one of the other few states that pay $0.20+ per kw/h I guess
ok thanks yeah i have one room for now. but i plan to expand to two in after harvest. I have a MH 1000watt blue digilux bulb and a HPS 1000watt red digilux bulb for veg and flower. im guna put them under the blue then if its not to strong for them. Btw my ballast allows me to lower power to 600, 750, 1000 watts should i use more or less? and how far away should the light be?
