  1. I'm curious to see how many man blades know their way around the kitchen. I personally love it when a guy can cook. Major points scored.

Why do you like to cook? What do you cook? Can you come cook for me?:p

  2. I do 90% of all the cooking for me and my girlfriend.

  3. Just got enrolled for culinary next term, never been so excited to learn.
I do a lot of foreign cooking Thai and Korean are my "specialties." I guess you could call them.
There's something rewarding about setting up a nice dinner for your family.

  4. I make amazing steak and fried potatoes, shits dank

  5. I agree cooking for others is fun and rewarding. Was my favorite part of having a whole kitchen to myself. Just me and a bunch of food and cook books.

  6. I've always been the main cook in the family...now that it's just my son and I, I'm working on teaching him how to cook as well...it's a great father and son activity...

  7. ^Always thought you were a woman.

  8. hell yeah I can cook

  9. Sorry to shatter your illusions...:p

  10. Don't let IF fool you, she is a girl :p

  11. Hey...I already told you...I am not gonna get a sex change just 'cause you're in love with me...:p:laughing:

  12. I'm not an amazing cook but I like to occasionally spark things.

  13. That's cool :) My dad didn't teach me but he definitely inspired me to cook. Cooking is the one thing I'm able to teach to other people. Everything else just frustrates me haha.

  14. I love to cook, always have. The first job I wanted was a chef but then I learned how stressful the job is firsthand. I do it because it's like reading for me, very relaxing and you have something delicious at the end.
Making something is just always so much better than heating it up in the microwave. Pierogies are my favorite, also carrot cake or angel food cake. I love a challenging recipe, when you make it it's like "achievment unlocked" haha. My girlfriend loves the kitchen too, it's a match made in heaven.

  15. Im a better cook than my girlfriend, but thats due to me making my own meals for several years and having worked in restaurants.

Needless to say, i know my way around a kitchen.

  16. I love cooking. Cajun and good Texas barbecue are my best but I love making fresh bread more than anything.

  18. I make some pretty good dishes if I had to rate myself. I started cooking at around 8 years of age, by 10 or 11 (according to mother unit) I was making family dinners some nights. Stuff like chicken picatta, this great zucchini and summer squash chicken pasta dish I came up with, shrimp meals and veal meat sauces, chicken primavera, fresh beer bread, pot roasts and baked citrus seasoned chicken, Apple pies and turn overs, etc etc. I made a lot of stuff like that when I was 12-14 but sadly I don't really cook that much anymore. I started my own small business at 15 and that consumed a lot of my time and sadly I lost touch with one of my biggest passions and something I was really good at (relative to my age I guess). I just decided I'll try to whip up something special this weekend for my first time really cooking high. Great thread idea. Keep the inspiration coming.

  19. Just between us, my girl's domestic skills leave something to be desired. She makes a good sandwich though, I'll give her that.

I do most of the cooking, though we eat out a lot too

I love to cook. I never had any desire to before being in the firehouse. Found my passion cooking for London's finest. Now I'd like to pride myself on my Pad Thai and general barbecue skillz.
