  1. Roots in just hours???! I gotta check that out! Man, I'm glad the app is working again.

  2. Thanx a lot. I'm gonna give it a try. What about adding Vitamin B2 or Honey to the water? Does is it gonna help?

  3. I made a Bubble Cloner from Nail containers...

One for the Clones and one for the Dome...

When cloning... I found some different "Tips" to help with 100% success...

    One... NOTHING IN THE WATER...
The plant needs to find food by sending out roots...

Heat pad on LOW under the Cloner...
Temperature should NEVER get to 85F... That KILLS
    72-78 is a good range

I don't CUT the leaves like I see some do.... I tried it...
But my clones come out healthier by leaving them whole...

Trimming the "Clipping" for the Cloner....

This is an important step... I have tried SEVERAL ways...
    This is MY procedure...
I clip a branch... INSTANTLY put it in a glass of water...
Collect the other clippings the same way...

Trimming the Clipping... Clean razor... Cut at a 45 degree angle...
Lay the razor over and trim the outer skin on two sides...
Then SPLIT the bottom a little...

    I also use Rootech...

This trim procedure has worked the best for me...

I put the clipping in the Cloner...
I've tried "IN" the water and "OUT" of the water...
Both work fine... But I prefer "OUT" of the water...
The Bubbles have water on EVERYTHING...
    So the Clones stay wet...

The Other nail container I use as a Dome...
Humidity collects... The leaves stay plenty moist...

6 days I can see roots

This Clone was from BENDING a plant too much...
    and I broke it...

I put it in a cup of water... and set-up my cloner the next day...
    She rooted great...
Actually I got two more clones as I was trimming this BIG one...

Cloning "IS" pretty easy.... If you try it... You'll be amazed...
    .
Search on-line... utube has MANY clips about it...
Watch several.... You'll find what works best for you...
You can buy cheap containers anywhere...
BLOCK the light from getting INSIDE...

Here's some other pix of the Bubble Cloner

    I am experimenting with defoliation...
The Tent is only 5 feet tall...
So I had to switch 12/12 early.... or outgrow the tent...

  4. Some people put kelp meal tea in their reservoir or a number of other things. Tbh, I don't know what will truly help and what will end up being truly detrimental. I just know that adding things to your water only creates issues with algae etc that will need to be cleaned - an extra step I try to avoid out of sheer laziness, lol.

When I take my cuts, I soak them in aloe water. Fresh picked from my yard, not the stuff from walmart (never tried that stuff).

Clean water, heat, light and oxygen are the main ingredients that I go with.

We use the same methods! I've tried without heat and it can take alot longer if the water is cold. Also tried without oxygen with same results.

I've narrowed it down to the essentials. I'm so lazy, I even tried to trim some of those steps, lol!

One could clone successfully in a glass of water sitting in a window....just a matter of how quickly one wants rooted clones I suppose.

    Beautiful plants by the way!

  11. I built one and it has worked wonderfully. I was wondering if anyone has tried sending the air tube through the lid, only reason I ask is then you could swap the lid from one can to another for cleaning

  12. Glad to hear it works for you! I've run the line down through one of the sponges and it works fine. I also use one of those aquarium pumps with multiple lines, running one to as many cans as I have lines

  13. Nice, my first clones ever were from a flowering plant and weren't growing roots till I threw em in the can then they exploded!
