Anyone think Florida will ever have MMJ?

  1. no way.. they will be one of the last states to do it... if at all

  2. I thought the same way because of all the pharmaceuticals here but our seniors are starting to speak for it. I'm anxious to see what happens.

  3. recent polls say 84% of floridians favor medical marijuana.

  4. All it takes is for a close race to be decided on the pro-medical/legalization candidate. And we're very quickly getting to the point where people are just going to be tired of seeing their friends and family suffering thanks to the drug war.

Of course, anyone that's done time thanks to the drug war looses the ability to vote.

  5. i agree with you...

there's been plenty of talk about the florida mmj issue for a long time and nothings changed...i dont see it anywhere in florida in the near future.

i hope it does dont get me wrong regardless of it this is my very last year in florida no doubt.

  6. Once the elderly population in florida realizes the medicinal benefits, and that it can help them, then it will be possible. You're up against the old reefer madness type propaganda they were force fed as kids, it won't be easy

  7. ^Not allowed to ask for hookups here dude. You're liable to get banned if you do, so I would delete that post.

On topic: I don't think Florida will ever have MMJ. Neither will Kansas. There are a few states that will never give up on prohibition until all other states and probably the feds have completely given up on it and allow it to be purchased for recreation.

  8. I'm hopeful that one day, it'll happen!

  9. Florida is a backwater and an example of what would happen to the entire United States if conservative republicans and tea partiers had control of congress and the presidency. Cut social programs and infrastructure funding and outsource/privatize everything.

  10. I agree with those that say we will be one of the last to have mmj just because of what I hear. It's a hard fact for me to accept seeing how I moved here from Rhode Island which, except for the west coast, has one of the older mmj programs in the US and may be soon decriminalizing.
