Most Intelligent Rap Group?

Discussion in 'Music genres, Bands and Artists' started by Sploojum, Oct 16, 2012.

  1. LOL you are quite the comedian. YMCMB wouldn't even agree with you let alone a group of blades discussing true lyricists.

Sent from my DROID RAZR Maxx **Top shelf only please**

  2. how has no one said Gangstarr yet... Guru?? come on guise. easily one the best the game has ever/will ever see.

Gangstarr easily. They are miles ahead of everyone else.

Guru is the best. DJ Premier is EASILY the best producer.

Nobody else comes close. End of discussion.

When damn near every artist/MC was to collaborate with either Guru or Preemo, thats a sign of how great they are.

Look at Preemo's career. Gangstarr, Nas, Mos Def, Common, Rakim etc etc.

Look at Guru. How many MC's can even come close to him? Tupac, Biggie? Those names are hip-hop royalty, and you can easily put Guru with them.

I know this is all my opinion, but damn it, their steez is the best.

  4. moment of truth is easily a classic

  5. If this song isn't rap you're all mad to not see the similarities...can't sing and talkin' real fast about all the important things. Usin' language like a minstrel and a poet. ...Dylan :)

Deltron 3030, Binary star, Gangstarr, bop Alloy which is Substantial rhyming over Marcus D production. cunninlynguists, one of my favorite groups of all time. Shape of broad minds, Super chron flight brothers, Elzhi is solo but he is hands down one of the most clever lyricists I've ever heard.
