Sooo how screwed am I?

What's up everybody...I hardly post here (mostly just a reader), I'll keep it short though.. I live in Ohio and basically, I was in a rush this morning driving to work and I got pulled over for speeding. Cop takes down my information then tells me to get out of the car because he said he smelled weed in the car...Not wanting to get into more deep shit, I admitted that I had a small bag in the car and he searched my car , found the bag and also found a bowl. He gave me 3 tickets, one for speeding, one for possession and one for paraphernalia. After he wrote my tickets out, I was on my way..


I have a court date next Wednesday and I am stressing on what to expect. I was reading up on most of it and it seems like I'll get a hefty fine and suspended license for 6 months. I can handle that as long as I can get to work and back.

Can anybody help me out on what to do? Should I even worry about getting a public defender or anything? Does it matter that all this happened the same time because I have a clean record and this is the first time I've been charged with anything? Looks like he marked a minor misdemeanor for the possession and 4th degree misdemeanor for the bowl.

Today sucks

 

I denied it the first time he asked but he was pretty much set that I had something . I knew he would end up searching my car anyway especially if I denied it.

I was thinking probation was comin my way as well. Damnit.

According to that, I'll get a $350 fine and nothing more. Hopefully it goes down like that because I will gladly take that.

I wonder if my case is any different because it happened at the same time?
