Thats the question, i just found a 150w / 2700 lumens cfl but it does not say day light it says, strong vibrant light want to know if i can use this to for vegetative state.
Are you sure its 2700 lumens and thats not the spectrum? Cause I have 26w's that put out 1650 lumens and with 150w you should be getting much more than twice mine. Unless you're looking at the incandescent equivalent wattage.
What you have is actually a 42 watt CFL bulb. You can use this for veg, but you'll want at least 2 or 3 of them.
you will want 2700 kelvin heat range for flower and 6500 k for veg. u cant get too many cfls for flower, have them all around ur girls. at least 3 of the 42w each
