  14. Love Kubrick. Still gotta see some of his films but of course Clockwork, Strangelove, 2001, and The Shining are classics. Another favorite of mine I rarely see mentioned is The Killing, an excellent nonlinear noir told from shifting perspectives that heavily influenced Tarantino. He considered it his first mature film and I highly recommend it especially for Kubrick fans.

  15. Kubrick's black and white films were a little strange to me at first. I saw all the later ones first, so going back and seeing his early ones was strange. The Killing was awesome, but I think Lolita was slightly better. Everything that came after Dr. Strangelove was amazing and innovative. Watching Kubrick films when you toke is pretty surreal - kinda makes you more high as you go. I think I will watch 2001 next - anyone got SK films on bluray?

  16. Oh yeah nothing better than Kubrick on blu-ray. I've got all the titles I mentioned and Killer's Kiss which is included with The Killing. Wish Clockwork used the master used in the special features instead of the old one though. Damn WB.

  17. OF COURSE! I love Clockwork (it's so hot) and Full Metal Jacket is so goddamned amazing.
