I used a 1/4 socket, and an empty pen. Is this safe, cause I wouldn't want to be smoking anything harmful.
Is the socket the bowl? If so I imagine it would be safe as long as there's no metal shavings, the only issue I could see would be if you were lighting the plastic pen part, as plastic smoke is toxic.
Yes it is safe, as long as you don't light the plastic. The only thing I would be worried about is the metal getting really hot and melting the plastic.
When I broke my downstem I used a piece of pen just like this. It works but you do have to change it after every 2-3 smoke sessions or it will effect the taste after awhile
When you rip a bong your gonna suck that flame probably down past the socket, at least when you get to where its almost cashed, if you start getting headaches when you toke could be due to this set up.
That's the problem. The socket will get hot very quickly. Maybe one or two quick hits op but more than that and you're going to start getting plastic vapor. And what the guy above me said.
what are you using a water bottle bong? if you are then don't even smoke that thing. The heat from the smoke is going to release toxins in the plastic bottle
Probably not safe to take normal size rips from atleast; after one pack the metal is going to be hot as fuck and burn you and be flipping annoying when u start getting high and think for a second,by time the smoke reaches the plastic (which is instantly) is probably been cooled to around 600-700 degrees probably enough to melt it, try getting long sockets like these: (They are a perfect 1 hitter) because atleast the smoke has time to cool some more cause its long
