I used to hate legs. Then I started doing a workout plan that's 90% barbell and started loving legs. I also made sure to hit compounds exercises heavy and start working with strength rather than hypertrophy (building muscle size visually). So I stick to the 6 rep range for all heavy, main lifts. 8-12 on any fun accessory lifts at the end of a workout.
