Josh Ford aka JFord is known as one of todays top millie producing glass artists. A student of the famed Millie master Malachi Wilkinson. JFord brings inspiration from online "cyber-culture" to glass by making millies of popular icons such as the dissapointed face and the reddit alien. Recently JFord has been turning the glass world on it's head with his newest series of themed dishes. Featuring a new "Print Encasement Technique" Pioneered by Matt McLamb, JFord is able to encase printed images into glass creating fantastic results. So far he's only done five dishes, each hosting a different character on the base of the dish, surrounded by a playful selection of themed millies around the dish's lip. The first dish features the late and great Steve Jobs former CEO and co-founder of Apple in his classic "think different" pose. The image is backed in white so the image can be seen clearly and is accompanied by a JFord "Apple" Millie. The second dish features the famed Chief Sitting Bull, with a white backing for clarity. Sitting proud as he always did instead of a millie around the dish JFord adds a feather dabber to pay homage to the feather Sitting Bull once wore. The third dish features everyone's favorite "Troll Face" laughing carelessly in your face! accompanied by three millies. The fourth dish is another internet favorite. Known to many as the "Bitch Please Face" this dish is surrounded by 5 internet and tech themed millies. His most recent and maybe our favorite dish he's done features a printed encased image of Simpsons Creator Matt Groening surrounded by a host of Simpsons millies by Malachi Wilkinson. Dishes make great little items to have or to buy as a gift for someone, usually used for stowing your smokeables dishes can be made to hold just about anything within the limits of it's size. Use your dish to hold things like: Guitar Picks Coins Millies Paper Clips and Push Pins Candies Incense Earbud Headphones (when not in use) Rubber Bands Nuts and Bolts .....and lot's lot's more! Errrrl!! Perfect bho dishes, but if you dont dab there prob more for decoration/looking at but you can always find some crap to store in em. I totally want to have one of these made with an image & millies i choose, im guessing theyre pretty pricey though..any idea what these ones went for otaku? Or do you know if he does customs? Im sure theres a huge waiting list, but idc, ill wait for a custom
