Has anyone heard of the bong company Genie? I was looking to buy a Roor but the headshop here (Halifax) doesnt carry them. Instead they carry Genie, which are apparently based off Roor concept designs or whatever. I cant find anything on google about them.
Genie range in thickness from 5mm - 9mm medical grade glass. They're manufactured in Ontario, Canada, and like you said, visually similar ROOR and HOSS designs. The most minimal designs usually still include a diffuser down stem and ice catcher. All down stems and bowls are fitted glass pieces and come in 14mm and 18mm varieties, with addition kits also available... making most Genie bong parts interchangeable and compatible with most other pieces on the market. They are also manufactured to have a balanced water to volume ratio for a smoother smoke.
I bought one this weekend at my local flea market super headshop for 80$ can. I bought the 17.5 inch 9mm beaker bottom. I've used my own share of bong and this one is by far the best. It feels amazing. The price is what realy motivated me tought, 80 dollar with taxes is awesome considering they sell the same bong 150 us on bongoutlet.ca So yea go with genie you won't regret it.

I got it from bongoutlet.ca It's a 7mm beaker base bong that's 18" tall and has a pyramid perc and 1 x 10 arm perc and it's got an ice catcher and splash guard, the bowl is a basic ash catcher, I also have a 11 arm perc precooler coming in from sunshine glass, but is gonna take longer to come in Oh and it's green!
