trimming durring flowering

  1. its been 17 days since the first hairs showed up. lots more have poped up since and its starting to fill out and stretch. i see stems like you find in buds starting to form at the nodes and the tips. i got one plant and i was wondering if/when should you trim durring flowering to help the plant promote most of its energy to budding and what leaves should i take?

  2. Leave the big fan leaves, thats where all the energy comes from. Cut off the lower ones.

And maybe ones not getting light.

    Make the crown nice.

    But don't listen to me....

  3. ill take a new pic tonight maybe you can help me decide, cause its kinda lsted weird and most the fan leaves are from the middle to the top, which kinda blocks light for the colas. heres a pic from like 2 weeks ago to give you an idea, its filled out alot since then though. and its a side pic so all you really see is how the stem arcs

  4. ok this is what it looks like, see how its kinda just arched and some of the fan leaves go into the cola canopy, ive been just tuckin the fan leaves into the canopy so there not on top. my plant is lookin bushier though since 2 weeks ago, its 6 inches taller than it was in the 2nd pic and the colas have atleast doubled in length and the stem is twice as thick now

  5. I wouldn't trim any leaves.. unless they are dead and all their sotred up Nitrogen has been used up..

Moter nature knows best.. I would just let it finish naturally and not stress the plant by cutting leaves off..

Some may disagree.. I've heard that professional commercial growers in Holland trim during flowering, but they are indoor with optimal conditions and unlimitied flowering time, whereas us outdoor growers have a deadline.

    Hope this helps..

  6. i might leave it alone then, cause only one leaf is even remotely close to dying, and thats only cause it was hurt by a imbalance of some sort a month or 2 ago, and even that leaf is only a little yellow around the edges
