hey, are one of those little handheld magnifying glasses u get from the dollar store sufficient enough to observe trichs, or should i go to radio shack or something? if i must buy a better one, do they sell handheld ones, so i dont have to remove any of the bud to test it. thanks alot
I believe 30X is preferable I gotta get me one of them too I think i'll try radioshack. The one you have from a dollar store is probably only 4X which is the same as alot of digital cameras.
Jeweller´s loupe is probably not powerful enough for trichomes, but good for sexing. Do a google and you will find them on line. I use a 60 X pocket microscope that I got online for a few euros.
where can i buy one of those at? i saw this on ebay but i dont want to wait for it to get shipped. radio shack around me said that they discontinued them or something, any other stores sell them?
hey all. just got the 60x-100x mini microscope from radio shack, 10 bucks. i know its not rocket science, but i cant get it to focus on anything. is there some trick to it lol. i know it sounds dumb, maybe im jus not looking at it correctly. ill keep playing with it until 2marrow. either way, thanks
Just turn on the light, put the bud in the right spot under the scope, then set it to 60,80, or 100X then use the little white dial on the side to focus and u should see something.
