Thinking about getting this BlackStar 100 watt LED Grow Light UV from this website. BlackStar 100 watt LED Grow Light UV - LED Grow Lights Any advice? I was thinking of throwing in some CFLs for extra lighting. I'm currently using the GL40 GrowLab Grow Tent. I was thinking about getting a 150 watt HPS but I know that HPS systems can give off too much heat, thats why I'm leaning towards the LED. If I don't get this LED I might go for the Gen3 90 watt UFO LED Grow Light HTG Supply - Gen3 90 Watt UFO LED Grow Light Let me know what you guys think!
I live near HTG Supply so getting the Gen3 LED won't taake long, but I'm not sure if the Blackstar would be better? I'm not trying to spend a whole lot of money, just something that can give me the best for what I'm paying for. What other lights have you seen in a GL40?
Actually the only benefit with the blackstar over the knock off is the uvb diode in the center of the unit then knock is actually better designed and more powerful the Chinese knock off I got actually plugs into a power pack but the blackstar plugs rite into the wall so obviously the knock off is putting off way more power the plants I have directly under the knock off seem to be growing way faster than under the blackstar... Just my two cents
