  1. hey fellas. like many of ur guys' plants, mine are flowering. i just wanted to make a quick post asking for any comments or thoughts on to what not to do in the next few weeks. im a first time grower, and never harvested, so any "dos" or, more importantly "donts", would be appreciated. i dont know if there are any, but any thing that will mess up my bud quality or quantity, or cause mold, etc. are welcomed. anything u guys have noticed from previous harvests that could benefit a harvest in any way are appreciated. thanks alot

  2. Don´t be in too much of a rush, make sure the buds are finished to your liking - look at the trichomes under a microscope.

Do make sure the plant is properly dried before you cure it, but not crispy dry.

  3. Defiantly listen to SpanishFly, but on the other hand I waited far to long and didn't really know what mold looked like when it started to form inside the buds..

I harvested early-mid October and in retrospect I should have harvested late sept..

So defiantly make sure your buds are thick and prime for pickin' but if there are lots of rainy days and moisture is in the air, look out for mold!

I lost ateast 1 ounce of dried bud because of mold, this year I will be way more catious..

  4. Are there any tips for removing the bugs, dirt, and birdshit?

Thats my main problem with harvesting. I try to keep it clean while its growing, but its so bushy its hard to get to some parts.
