Nah just one pack per jar is what people usually so it just captures and releases moisture and keeps it at 62 Peace 👽 RQS Northern lights auto, 126w cfl grow - http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1289059-
So I'm guessing to go ahead and get the smaller cheaper size if it doesn't matter? Lol ChonginðŸ˜ðŸ’¨ðŸ’¨
Happy 4/20 guys! Hope everyone is enjoying their weed! Quick update 1) 2) 3) Pretty even canopies! I'm trying to keep some of the nodes from outgrowing my tops! ChonginðŸ˜ðŸ’¨ðŸ’¨
Yes mate that's the same scope as me too! Very good! Just make sure not to leave the bulbs on lol Peace 👽 RQS Northern lights auto, 126w cfl grow - http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1289059-
Should I remove everything except for the main tops of the branches? I have like 20 or more bud sites on each plant. I'm kinda lost here ChonginðŸ˜ðŸ’¨ðŸ’¨
I would remove any fans that arnt getting any lights, tuck or cut anything that is restricting bud sites from light. And I would wait another 5 days for a but more growth then cut everything below the canopy which isn't connect to a bud site and strip all popcorn buds off. Some people don't do this, some people do. I do, and think it makes great differences, some people think it destroys a plants growth etc. Your choice, but I would Peace 👽 RQS Northern lights auto, 126w cfl grow - http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1289059-
an leave them mate they may swell up, or just keep all popcorn and using it with the trims to make hash Peace 👽 RQS Northern lights auto, 126w cfl grow - http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1289059-
Preciate it buddy! I have removed I decent amount today. Not to much though! Just the fan leaves hanging down the side of the pot and a few other popcorn sites on all plants. They look good though. I actually spotted with the naked eye a few of the pistils getting some red in them! ChonginðŸ˜ðŸ’¨ðŸ’¨
which are the popcorn sites? Where my finger is? My finger is approximately 3 inches from the tops of that particular branch ChonginðŸ˜ðŸ’¨ðŸ’¨
It's not a bud site, it's the lowest branches. They don't receive as much light, and the light they do receive is less intense, so they don't develop good dense buds, but fluffy, airy, "larfy" buds..... Popcorn. So some growers will simply remove these branches (cut them off at the main stem) so that the plant doesn't waste any energy developing those buds, and concentrates on the main cola and upper budsites. Others feel that there's not too much energy being pulled from the main cola, and that any bud is good bud as long as it gets you high, so they leave the popcorn bud branches on. It's a matter of opinion, and up to you. Edit: And given the way you have been training (topping and LSTing) your plant, you may not even have "popcorn bud" branches......
So in other words you want to strip everything except the ends/tops of each branch off of the main stem and whatever is under the main tops? Still a little confused! Sorry gandlaf! ChonginðŸ˜ðŸ’¨ðŸ’¨
Removing popcorn buds really means removing the branches which develop "popcorn buds".... it is not removing growth and leaving that branch. It is removing whole branches from the bottom. It's often called "lollipopping".... here's a good video explaining it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpejNDU_BRA As you can see, it applies to the bottom growth on plants that grow straight upward. Because your plant is LST'ed, lollipopping doesn't really apply much. The only thing I can think it that.... if there are any branches on the underside of the main stem.... which are unable to break through the canopy.... which you feel are getting barely any light because of all the bud sites and leaves above them..... go ahead and remove those branches. We're talking the smallest, most trapped underneath, branches lol. What you said about stripping everything off the branch except the budsite is similar to a technique called Defoliation. Here's a good tutorial: http://www.growweedeasy.com/marijuana-defoliation-tutorial As you can see, it says "Experienced Growers Only!" I wouldn't try it, and I don't recommend that you try it.
