I had a jury trial this morning on level 3 possession with intent MJ, level 4 possession drug paraphernalia and level 10 no drug tax stamp. During voir dire, my almost all white, middle-class, middle-aged jury went into full rebellion against the prosecutor stating that they wouldn't convict even if the client's guilt was proven beyond a reasonable middle-class, middle-aged jury went into full rebellion against the prosecutor stating that they wouldn't convict even if the client's guilt was proven beyond a reasonable doubt -- almost all of them! Things like this will keep on happening, and happen more often! People are catching on that cannabis is NOT "the weed from hell", but is actually a very safe intoxicant and a very effective herbal medicine. :D

That quote is an absolute mess, like what is this fuckery? I felt like I was stuck on a neverending loop of repeating sentences.

Other than that, cool story

Incredible.

I'd expect this on the West Coast but Kansas City?

Prohibition is officially on borrowed time.

the truth has been passed down...and recent events make it obvious DC lies, a lot...

What if most juries started doing this?

Yeah, don't expect this news to make the networks.

Of course not. The drug war zealots don't want the sheeple to know they have lost the useless war on Cannabis. Many more people are waking up to the fact that legalization needs to happen and soon. Thats why I have a feeling that the ballot initiatives to be voted on will pass this time around. Even though Prop 19 failed it only lost by a small margin. And since then we have made big strides in the legalization movement.

This is definitely not the norm throughout the state of Kansas and it certainly don't apply to the largest city in Kansas nor its other counties where the prosocuters have a strangle hold on nonviolent offended but this was a breath of fresh air to hear about:)
