I'm new to this I have my buds in a jar for 2 weeks and it smells like dill pickles wtf wow growing its smelled like some kill what the fuck happen to my weed?

Was it dried correctly?
How long did you dry before jars?
Was your jar clean?

There's a point where weed smells like grass or straw for a while, then it'll restore it's regular smell. But that's during the drying process, not the cure.

I had this issue and I followed the sticky step by step. maybe cut too early?

Maybe so I got some sativa bag seed now it's in it's 8th week of buding the shits cloudy 60%. So what to do ?

Sativas take 10-13 weeks, and some even longer. Keep checking those trichs. I harvest when trichs are 90% cloudy 10% amber. When you chop, hang the buds with fan leaves still attached. Dry until the smaller branches almost snap when you bend them. Then trim off all the leaves and toss the nugs in jars. Burp the jars a few times a day for the first 10 - 14 days. Then you can just burp once every few days.
