So due to my current situation I'm limited in what supplies i can get, so for my micro grow (linked in my signature) i used miracle grow soil (i know, i know...) Just wondering, on the bag it said it feeds the plants for 6 months (blah blah blah) but what kind of nutrients should i be using for flowering? Something i could possibly pick up at a local store? (walmart, home depot, lowes, ect.) Hydro shops aren't very common and it's a bit of a hassle to get to one. And ordering them online to my house isn't an option.

You can buy all organic soils at home depot or lowes...

For nutrients you can look into Foxfarm's Nutrient Trio

depends on what you mean by cheap. digging some soil from the gound might be cheap depending on how you look at it.

Your askin for major problems when doing that do it right in the beginning and it will pay off 13$ isn't much at all considering you probably drop 20$s on nugs all the time

But my question is, the soil has time released nutrients, so with that, should i be using any other nutes or will this burn up the plant? I've used mg in the past but not with time time released nutes.

you dont need to use nutes if you got time released. only use nutes if you see any defs in the soil at any time.

you shouldn't be using nutes if you have time released nutes within the soil already.

you already bought this soil right?

Yeah I'm using it for the micro grow linked in my signature. They're already about 2 weeks old in the soil.

You would be better off repotting into a soil without TR ferts. The TR ferts are the big problem with the MG soil and the fact it is not properly handled by whoever processes it for MG.

For the price of $5(1.5cf), kellog's patio plus from the depot is all natural and what I would use.
MG nuted are fine but, their are much better nutes that are for specific stages of growth. A couple I recommend are dynagro or, maxibloom.....
Best of luck....
