Does Science Matter?

As I wrote last week in an op/ed for The Sacramento Bee, when it comes to the federal government’s policy on marijuana, not so much. Politicians could care less what the science says. The only thing that matters in Washington is money, and the money currently talking is anti-cannabis. It's really a shame that we've gone from making informed decisions based on evidence to passing laws without merit because that's what the "big money" wants.
