Hello, i have 3 plants in my growtent (3x3x6) growing for ~3 months now. Acapulco Gold, which is the tallest one is ~1.4 meters. I am delaying flower a bit more because i am waiting to solve some insect problems and get better temps. I was advised to cut the top 1' of the plant, to have 2 colas and slower veg growth. Would this be ok or stress the plant too much? You can see photos of my grow in my journal which is in my sig. GC would not let me upload them again.

As long as youre not in flower and have a week or 2 to wait after you top to recover- then youre golden. AND IF YOU HAVE AUTOS- DO NOT TOP.

Yeah, i definitely have a week or 2 for them to recover. They are all photoperiod plants, not autos. So i just cut the top 30 centimeters of the plant and that's it? I cut it from the stem?

Make sure when you have plants in veg for that long and that size that you can accomodatee for them to double maybe more in size during flower or you will be screwed. Trust me I been there and its not pretty :)
