My setup...get there while you can

hey GC community, yo SG what up bro! i told you id give you a lil info on my set up so here we go....

my wife recently approved me takin over our downstairs office,

it is 8'6"wX10'LX8'4"h i split it into 2 diff rooms

one room for veg and clones 4'X4'X8'4"h

one room for bloom 4'8"wX8'6"LX8'4"h

the rest of the area i use for storage. i framed out these rooms with 2x3s and covered the inside in white plastic and the outside in black plastic. the rest of the walls are mylared

in the bloom room i have:
=600w/400w nextgen switchable ballast
1-600w mh digilux bulb
1-600w hps digilux bulb
6" cool tube hood with a 4" high velocity inline fan pushing hot air off my bulb 190cfm
=400w hps old school mag ballast light set up w/ hood
6" high velocity inline fan with 22" carbon filter exhaust out window 440cfm

in the veg room:
=250w ele. ballast w/wing reflector
1-250w mh bulb
1-250w hps bulb
=32w cfl
=50w bloomboss LED (fits in regular edison socket)
6" inline booster style exhaust fan

like ive said before i run bubbleponics and soil grows, just counted last night 7 diff cycles (i think?maybe8)complete with some nice results. my first run was in soil with random seeds that ive kept over the years. that was when i got my 250w hid set up. it came out pretty damn good so i found a friend i could get clones off of a tried out his bubbleponics system using TECHNAFLORA RECIPE FOR SUCESS. i know your not down with desinger ferts and hood and all that but this is how i started and i get nice results (nothing like your outdoor holycow!) but im deffinatly implementing alot of your methods since i started readin your threads.

i couldnt count on my clone guy any more(he sent me mites with my last batch...what a jerk!) so i took a trip to niagara falls with the wife and stopped by the NIAGARA FALLS SEED BANK. what a great spot its a dispensary and seed bank kinda deal he even had plants veggin right in the store (using LED thats why im tryin that Bloomboss). so i grabbed some beans up there and thats what im runnin right now. some in organic soil and some hydro.

this is what i got:
=6pk. DNA Chocolope (chocolate thai x canalope haze)
=6pk. DNA Sweet Haze (skunk haze x canalope haze)
=1-Dinafem Moby Dick
=1-Dinafem White Widow
=1-Dinafem Sweet Deep Grapefruit =1-Dinafem Orignal Amnesia =1-Dinafem Blue Hash Plant

all together it was less than $200.

started germing 3 chocolope, 3 sweet haze, 1 mobydick, and 2 iss (intl. sweet skunk) on june 2nd. and as of july 23rd they started the bloom phase(12&12)

o yeah... 2 chocolope are in org. soil 1 in bubbleponiocs....2 sweet haze are in org. soil 1 in bubbleponics
2 iss in bubbleponics.....and 1 moby dick in org. soil

im thinkin about my next round already... anyone ever try a S.I.P. bucket? thats when you stack2 buckets witha hole in the inside one and the outside bucket is the res.

SIP buckets for sure, you use less fertilizer because there is no run off and you can even make the switch to organic in them for bigger yields and better tasting buds if that's what you want... Grasscity has a lot of growers using them with great results, I say go for it man, you can even automate watering them so its like "set it and forget it" type of grow style.

Looking nice in the grow room, that is a good spot for the fan... I can see how that would cool things down quite a bit. I do a similar thing in my grow box, fan blowing directly on the bulbs to help cool em down.

Check em out its a lot of reading and more than I even have the time for admittedly. But you'll see some impressive results from both growers and lots of good blades hang in those threads. I haven't seen Papa really put it use yet, but check this guy's SIP setup I thought its pretty cool because he uses an air stone in the bottom of the bucket.
