The vote passed. Get ready to travel farther to the dispensaries. Apparently they are considering allowing the pre-2007 ones to remain open, but that won't be voted on for a few months.

yup:smoke:
So you guys think we'll be fine? Can I roll down there right now?
I really hope my usual guy didn't get shut down. He's owned his shop for 7+ years now and does a very good job running it.

I think the letters may start going out 30 days after the Mayor signs the ordinance. How long they have after that I'm not sure.

"Spokeswoman for Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Vicki Curry, told The Huffington Post that the mayor supports the ban and will sign it into law sometime next week. It goes into effect 30 days from when it is signed, which means by September, according to the city attorney's figures, 762 registered dispensaries and a couple hundred more unregistered facilities will be forced to close."I think the letters may start going out 30 days after the Mayor signs the ordinance. How long they have after that I'm not sure.

Maybe now you guys can stop abusing it. If it wasn't being used as a way to just legally get high this probably would have never happened.
I know, now I gotta go somewhere else to ease the pain from my scraped knee and other various boo boos!

He's not hating man, sarcastic yes, but not hating. LA and CA in general has gotten way out of control with the MMJ - you can't tell me otherwise because I'm seeing it all over the place here. There's nothing "medical" about most of these places. I think we should either fully legalize for everyone or scrap the med program and start over.dont hate just because you dont have medicinal access to cannabis
