Could my homemade Bowl be deadly?

I was bored, so i saw this Candle stand, Its a skull, With a tin bowl, i ripped out and drilled, as you can see in the picture. As i was drilling it had white power kinda thing. Now i guess it could be anything, But the powder had a odd smell to it, Idn i can't really say what it smells like. Also if it helps it was made in China, Thanks.

Do not use anything from china, they like to use lead paint and toxic substances
But if you must, try to melt the skull and the white powder, if any smoke or smell is released from either throw it out
If the skull doesn't melt/release fumes from a flame under it then I would say you are somewhat safe if it does I would not risk it even with a tin foil bowl

Maybe not deadly, but possibly harmful. It looks like the skull is made of ceramic, which normally would be okay. But it also looks like the ceramic is glazed (the "paint"). Ceramic glazes (especially those made in China) can sometimes contain harmful compounds that could be carcinogenic or that could cause other health problems.
