If you go to any regular smoke shop in your area, they will have fairly cheap bubblers that work great! I got one for $30 and I love it.
As for brands/types, it will vary depending on where you are. Most smoke shops will all have completely different types, so I can't really recommend a specific one. Also I wouldn't go for one online, because you can't see the quality unless it's in your hands, which is a benefit of a smoke shop. But who knows, maybe you find a popular one that has good reviews or something?
Just go take a look at a smoke shop and see what style you like, it's not like you have to buy from them anyway! Good luck man, hope you find a good one

If your price range is up to 70, you might be able to get a neat little inline or 8-arm bubbler. Mine were only like $80-90.
And you're in California, so I'm sure you have plenty of head shops in the area. You could potentially save a bundle on shipping charges by trying local head shops first.

Well, huh!
I have never seen a water store. I guess I learned something new today.

haha!
i have one last question. do you prefer hammer bubblers or sherlock bubblers?
I can't really say I have any preference there. It depends on much more than the shape... Like the size of the chamber, the size of the carb, whether it's a diffused downstem, how large the bubbler is in general...
There are many more types than just sherlocks and hammers, too.
The bonus of going to an actual head shop is that you can hold and thoroughly inspect the piece yourself before you buy it.
