Flowering time question

Put my plant into an early flower, she was only 7 inches tall at the time of switching to 12/12 but I get off probo in 2 months, so I wanted to have bud that I grew to smoke down on. The question is, how many weeks into flowering should I start to see the main colla, or any bud at all? It's been about a week and she grew 2 inches taller. Using Tiger Bloom and FoxFarm big bloom and used Super Thrive about two days ago because of yellowing leaves.

It can take anywhere from a week to 4 weeks for most plants to even start flowering. It takes longer for pure sativa strains.

It's all strain dependent. Usually, week 6-8 you'll start seeing a lot of bulking.

Alright thanks, and is the 12/12 light schedule extremely strict? Like, since I can't afford a timer atm, if I woke up at 10:15 to turn my lights on instead of 10:00, would this cause delayed flowering? And what about if I accidentally waited 15-30 mins to turn my lights off at night?

Imo you need that timer. Especially if your trying to get them to flower. you can get one for like 7 bux at wal mart. 2 weeks from switching to 12/12 you should atleast see the femle hairs appear.. the latest ive ever personally seen was almost 3 weeks. Like the other guy said tho it really is strain dependant.

Yeah, agree with zq, you need the timer. The plant won't auto-destruct if you're 15 minutes off, but irregular times are bad.
And 2 weeks from switching to 12/12 for the plant to show its sex is good, IF the plant has veg-ed long enough. Since you had a short veg cycle & the plant was only 7" tall, it can take longer.
The first signs will be miniscule; a single calyx with two glistening white hairs sticking out the tip; or the dreaded ball on a stalk - a male. Once the plant shows its sex, it usually takes about 2 weeks for the top growth to start tightening up and for the buds to start forming.
