question about scrog

do i top them before i let it grow through the screen and pull it down?

as in, before it even hits the screen, i top it, and let those two grow up a bit, top them again, the nget all my tops then add the screen?

some top like mad and others don't top at all, if you have 2 plants under the screen try topping one and leave the other one un-topped just to see how it works out in YOUR set up.

You probably want to top them or FIM which is basically the same thing only you're trying to get more than 2 branches to grow out of the top. Instead of cutting the whole top bud off you cut about 2/3 the way down and multiple branches grow from there. I imagine the more branches you have the easier it will be to fill up your screen.

i found that topping my girls was not needed as dwc realy makes the smaller lower buds stretch up on their own, i did top/fim around half a dozen sites max though.
