Moving to BC Canada...what do I do? *QUESTIONS*

I am a MMJ patient here in Nevada and I have approximately 2-3 months until I have to move up to Victoria, BC Canada. I have been a daily smoker (up to 6 times per day, no less than 4) for the past 2 years (the only 2 years I have been using MJ, I was "straight edge" prior). I am going to have to cut back immensely and possibly even quit for a few days. The last time I went approx. one day without cannabis I had some troubles. My stomach was in pain (I'm talking full on cramps to the point I can't walk) because I could not stomach food. I was hungry on the inside, but mentally I had no appetite. I could only get a few bites down at a time. The second I got cannabis in my system I was able to eat and I felt great again. I was also quite irritable. Small things bothered me again and my mood would fluctuate.

With that being said, question 1:
Is there any way to "ease myself" out of this? e.g. lowering the amount I use on a weekly basis up until I leave? If so, or if not, what side effects will I most likely experience?

I am not sure if this question is against the rules (if it is, feel free to remove it) but this is the only place I come to for advice on this kind of stuff.

Let's say my friend were to want to ship me cannabis to last me a week or so when I first get there. I have an idea to melt a candle, put a small, glass, air-tight vial filled with a few grams of pre-ground flower possibly mixed w/ some concentrate in the middle of the candle, let it dry, and then ship the candle inside of an eBay box to somewhere in Victoria (I would have to get a P.O. box or something?). That idea sounds very sketchy but I have heard a lot of people actually ship their MMJ when they go on vacation. If they can, why couldn't I?! Once again, I am sorry if this is a dumb or inappropriate question. I am inexperienced with this which is why I am asking.

question 3:
SHOULD I quit?

I see no reason to do so, but I must ask what everyone thinks. I am not going to lie and say I am not addicted to cannabis, because I am... but it does not have a negative impact on my life. I can still function like a normal human being and I am generally a lot happier while on it. My mood positively changes and I see things a lot differently. I put myself in "their" shoes instead of thinking inside of my own little bubble like I do while sober. While off of cannabis I am extremely irritable and emotional. Very childish, I know... which is why I love cannabis. Since I have not mentioned this yet, I have bipolar 1 and use cannabis as my aid. It works great.

question 4:
what do I need to do to qualify for the Canadian (or BC) MMJ program? Would bipolar and depression (I was depressed prior to starting MMJ) qualify me?

question 5:
are there any of you from Victoria?! If not, how about Vancouver? How would one go about taking their cannabis on the ferry?

Hey man I would say as cannabis being your medicine not to quit. just to slow down a bit in my opinion. I can't say I know exactly how you feel but I do know that there is beauty in the world and appreciation without smoking. Ive quit for long and short periods of time and Ive been you can say addicted too. The point is make up your own mind on what you want but not only weed should make you happy. Notice the little things in life! :D

I have friends who have shipped cannabis through states but I'm not sure about over the border. I wouldn't really risk it. I would say to google and see other people's results on that matter and REALLY RESEARCH THAT SHIT I wouldnt want you making the wrong choice, Another thing is ....... Vancouver British Columbia is fucking huge on herb! They have a kind of movement called BC BUDS which I wouldnt be able to detail too much but on youtube you can search for yourself ! and find immense results !

I realize they are huge on herb but I do not know anyone out there. That is why I am reaching out in an attempt to find some fellow cannabis users. By BC BUDS are you talking about some actual movement or group? If so, could you link me to a YT video about them or something? I searched for BC BUDS and all that I got was a bunch of people talking about their "BC bud".

Listen to me, you sir need a Schedual. I was smoking a half ounce to myself a week bro and I had to do the same. Start with whatever you smoke and cut it in half for next week. Use a scale to weigh it and only buy as much as your limit is going to be. Also don't carry a lot of spare cash around that makes it easy to buy. Using is a different story. One thing I suggest is not smoking first thing, but starting to do it after you complete tasks. This way you are not relying on it just to get out of bed and eat. You need to get up in the morning and have some confidence. Start taking some Omega 3's and go for a jog and get your blood pumping. Trust me man it's hard, but only for the first day. Just muscle it out I know you can do it. I was smoking a half a week and I've tapered myself down to a quarter. I feel better and cleaner too. Plus I have more cash. Oh and I forgot to mention one big key to not smoking marijuana is keeping yourself busy, you need to get out and do stuff. If you sit around and are just like I wanna smoke bud waaa wa wa and don't do anything productive you will never be successful. Get outside and exercise and sweat some of that thc and shit out of your body. You will feel cleaner and it also clears my skin up when I take tolerance breaks. Peace brother and goodluck.

Yeah I meant it in the sense that they have very good Marijuana over there. I don't know too much more than that but I live in Toronto and they have Vaporizer clubs here, not a bad place to ask for some connection....... although do not ask a worker !!! They will not sell to you, or tell you. Ask a regular!
