Hey GC welcome to my Kush grow  . I harvested less than a month ago, quick turn around time for me. I've been wanting to grow some really dank kush for a while so here I go :D:bongin:

Magic Beans:
2x DNA Holy Grail Kush Feminised
2x Reserva Privada Skywalker OG Feminised
1x Reserva Privada Sour Kush Feminised

Tent:
3x2.5x6

Lighting:
400W Plantmax MH conversion bulb
400W Lumatek HPS

Medium:
Soil is a mix of potting soil created by my local nursery which has a blend of beneficial bacteria and lime in it, Coast of Maine soil and extra perlite. Starting with party cups and after that they will be transplanted once into 4 gallon buckets for the rest of the grow.
70% soil
30% perlite

Nutes & Chemicals:
House & Garden Soil A&B
H&G Shooting Powder
Calmag+
Superthrive
Big Bud by Advanced Nutrients
Bud Candy by A.N.
Blackstrap Molasses

pH up & down
chlorine/chloramine solution
cheap fish tank pH tester, believe it or not it has served me well, I plan to upgrade to an electronic pH and EC meter one of these days....

Ventilation:
4" 170 CFM In-Line fan w\speed controller
Oscillating tower fan
6"Clip on fan
carbon filter
A.C. in same room as tent

8 port power strip w\built in digital timer

Germinated the seeds a few days ago via the paper towel method. Put them in the party cups two days ago and so far 1 HG and 1 SW have broken the surface. They will be under the 100 watts of CFLs for at least a week before I put up the MH.

Checked on the little ones this morning. They look happy as can be :). Still only 2 for 4 so far . Waiting on the other HG and SW to break the surface. Ill give them another day before I start germinating the Sour Kush. I really wanted to grow 4 gals this run . Till next time :bongin:

So I just looked in on the little ones and the other HG popped her head through:o,.....BUT I can see that the root is corkscrewed like a pigs tail right under the surface of the dirt. :(Not good. I sprayed the surface of the dirt with water that had a touch of Superthrive in it. Keeping my fingers crossed .

Great to have you along for the ride Ed! :) I just started germinating the Sour Kush. I have a feeling I won't be 4 for 4 with these beans. So far i'll call it 2 for 4 because of the root situation with the second HG.What if they all end up growing you ask?!? Then I grow 5 gals ;):D. LOL Don't be jealous of me Ed. Those are the only beans I have! A lot of you guys horde beans, wish I had the funds for that...

Ha! Well I'm certainly not one of the hoarders, but I have been trying to get a collection going - doomsday prepping LOL I'll probably be starting a Kush phase next year sometime, I have a lot of empty jars to fill in the meantime so I'm going with speed racers for now.

Hopefully your roots get all worked out, hell as long as it lives you can make whatever comes of it work I'm sure :)

Sounds good Ed. The root of one of the HG seedlings corkscrewed like a pigs tail. Hoping for the best :o.

Got home from work today and the little ones look good :). I took a close up pic of HG1 and you can see the root kind of looks like it might be tying itself into a knot :(. WTF:confused: can it really be happening?!? Anyways I put the Sour Kush seed under ground and i'll be growing 4-5 gals. Till next time :bongin:

Just checked on the little ones and they all look good. The HG1 with the twisted root looks good too. It hasn't grown vertically much but the leaves are getting bigger. The Sour Kush hasn't popped up yet. I would like to be able to put the MH up within a week.

So we are about a week into the grow and everyone looks healthy :). The MH is going up in a few days, I just want to give the little Sour some more time to toughen up first. Next watering they start the H&G feeding schedule. Till next time :bongin:

Day 10

Watered and fed 2 days ago and I have slight nute burn :(. My own damn fault. I tried the aggressive feeding schedule by H&G since I read the HG Kush are big eaters. Not yet at least . No more food for at least a week :o. Anyways growth is good. I plan on transplanting this weekend into their 4 gal buckets. I need to pick up some more hooks to start a little LST. Till next time :bongin:

best to luck man lookin good so..

This is like if that Blue Oyster shit met that Afghan Kush I had - and they had a baby. And then, meanwhile, that crazy Northern Light stuff I had and the Super Red Espresso Snowflake met and had a baby. And by some miracle, those two babies met and fucked - this would the shit that they birthed.

DAY 13

Transplanted today into their 4 & 3.5gal final homes. Their new growth shows no sign of burn from earlier in the week:o. Watered with a little Superthrive only. At least one more watering nute free before they get fed again. We'll see what they tell me. I also picked up a new "water pipe";) by Hi Si :D. Nice and thick, ice pinch, diffuser at the end of the female piece and the bowl has multiple small holes in it instead of 1 larger one. I plan on adding an ash catcher another day. Hits so smooth . Burnin some Special Queen#1 from my last harvest. Till next time :bongin::bongin:

Nice looking piece. I like the simple, clean designs as well.

Only a matter of time now before those gals take off.
