Hey there, I figured I should make a proper grow journal for my current girls.
I have two dutch passion blueberry at day 29 since I switched the lights to 12/12.
I use my mom's soil she makes every year and that is usually good up until flowering when I switch to cheapo chem nutes, Schultz bloom plus 10-60-10 (They work for me)
They are under a 430 Watt HPS light and were vegged under a mixture of 150 watt MH, two 65 Watt O3 Actinic T5H0 and two 40 watt 4' sylvana growlux tube floresants.
Tempatures are usually around 75 degrees depending on the day with 30-40% humidity.
I have three seedlings and one clone vegging now also of the same strain.
Link to older thread with alot of pics http://forum.grassci...eks-flower.html

And some new pictures just taken.

I know it was only a day since I uploaded pics, but I am bored so here is some more :)

The size of the cola in pic number seven does not give it justice, it is huge for 30 days, somewhere in between a red bull can and a soda can.

Well your buds are looking good as ever... LoL I wish I could get some sugar on my leaves. I just went out and got some damp rid for my tent this weekend so now I can keep the humidity level in the 30's; maybe that will help out.

Another thought, I've been wondering how much of a difference the SCROG makes in bud development time. My thought process is just that if there are more buds and colas exposed to grow, maybe it takes up more energy, thus taking longer to finish the job. IDK maybe im just trying to justify my LED LoL... Anyway tomorrow is my update day; make sure you check out the latest progress ;)

Thanks Cliffe5 :) I keep my humidity a bit lower then usual just because I live in an old house and well who know what are in these walls and could spread mold/fungus into my plants. I am right worried about mold and fungus as I once lived in a really old skyrise in Halifax, NS (the only one really) and during one crop I got neon orange mold on my buds. Needless to say I was out of that place as soon as I could.
I suppose it being lower would promote resin growth to protect the flowers from the heat. But I do not know how much a difference it makes as again, I am no pro.

You would think that a SCROG wouldn't make much of a difference if the plant has everything it needs to grow (nutes, lights, etc). Say if we applied that same theory to plants that I FIM with more budsites, it should be stunted in growth also. But with me that is not the case, as they are thriving well. Again I am not a pro, and I think it is the light or possibly another variable that you have not figured out yet.

Thanks :) They are one of my favorite smokes and I find it just so relaxing :)

I traded the clone tonight to a friend for a few g`s of Super Lemon Haze, sad to see any plant go but she is going to a good home :)

I had a little mishap this morning taking pictures. My own damn fault. Regardless, one of the plants (the non fimed one) had something knocked on it and it got bent (not broken) and a few branches with budsides ripped off. It is tied up and healing now, lets hope it is okay and doesnt hermi :( Oh well shit happens, and that's what I get for messing around with no coffee in me yet haha.

I did get a few more pics in before this happened.

edit: I am not worried as much as I was when I posted it, seems to be standing up mostly on its own and the sites werent too big. The big fat top cola is still intact.

I have the 3 little bud sites I snapped off during the accident this morning hung up and drying. They were sticky as hell and my fingers are still sticky after trimming them. Still early but, oh well. Gotta try and stay positive with an injured plant as much as possible lol

As I don't have experience with HPS, I've only watched from afar but felt motivated to offer my praise. It may be like my obstinate clinging to bagseed that my comfort zone never grows to include HPS, but perspectives and success like yours are slowly winning me over.

Thanks, IMO HPS is the way to go, it has very good proven results!
