I'm going to the boardwalk in Ocean City Maryland soon, and I can only be there for a few hours. I'm thinking of buying a cool piece or some cool paraphernalia of some sort. Maybe a bong, mini bong, or bubbler or something. :bongin: I don't want to spend too much money, and I have to be somewhat discreet with its transportation when leaving Ocean City (There's a stupid rule where no tobacco, drugs, alcohol, or paraphernalia is allowed, but they won't check our bags unless we're somewhat suspicious). Does anyone have any head shops they'd recommend or a place with cheap glass, or just somewhere cool to check out?
All help and input is much appreciated!
    Thank you!

  2. Almost any boardwalk has TONS of head shops. just take a walk on the boardwalk and you'll be sure to find several. I've noticed that head shops on the boardwalk are cheaper the ones usually not on the boardwalk because there's a lot of competition. At least here in Jersey.

  3. Just walk around and see what shop has the best prices. Cheaper does not always mean better if the piece will not last.

Make sure you find yourself a nice sturdy thick glass piece.

Lets see some pics when you pick out that new piece.

  4. Be careful some shops sell fake glass brands. Make sure it's thick

How can I tell if it's fake? How thick does it need to be?

  6. most of the illadelph/roor/name brand pieces they have are fake and they sell them for a little less than what the real ones are priced at. ive even seen some that dont have the logos painted on they just have a sticker to make it look legit. basically i wouldnt recommend anything they wanna charge over 50-60 bucks for cuz its probably not worth it

  7. I don't want to spend more than $35-$40 for a piece, if that helps.

  8. If your looking for a small bowl or a small bubbler just get something custom. Most shops have glass blowers that send pieces. Some even have blowers in the shop. Ask to hold the piece before you get it. Post pics when you do!!

What do you mean by "custom"? Like, "make your own"?

  10. No custom as in, not a company piece. Something made by a local glass blower. If you were planning on buying a nicer scale bong I would suggest opposite.

  11. I'm going down to OC tomorrow, but no, there are no headshops that I know off and I've been going down there for years

What about places to buy pieces?

  13. There definitely is a place in OC MD that has glass water pipes its called Heads Up its on South Baltimore Ave Across from Fat Daddy's.  There are places that imply they carry glass save your energy man.  The bus runs on Baltimore Ave and cost like $3 and ride is all day.  This shop has a couple mellow people inside and some sweet pieces.  They also have RAW and Juicy J papers.  It doesn't look like much at all from the outside its in a bad spot, they'd do better if they were somewhere else... bummer.
