Hey GC.
Can anyone tell me why my girls are beginning to change colour?
They are currently in week 3 of flower and have been looking fantastic, a nice green colour, pert leaves with no tip burn etc.
My temps, humidity and CO2 are good so I'm stumped?
Using ionic bloom (7ml per ltr) and ionic boost (1ml per ltr) and molasses.
Any help would be great

Could it be a build up of the nutes?!?!?!
Is it possible to flush half way through flowering and then start feeding as normal after bearing in mind I'll be adding PK 13/14 @ week 5?
Anyone??

That's just the plant using up store nitrogen for the bud growth totally normal I wouldn't think you have a deficiency just because the plant turns a lighter color. Plants change there physical properties while going thru different stages just because there is a burnt tip on a leaf or the leaf is light green there is no seriously problem but I would watch over it. Looks good

Around the 3rd/4th week of flowering is is totally normal for some of the plants leaves to turn yellow, as the plant is using up available N and C6H1206 for the production of its flowers/buds.
Good luck!

Thanks guys, I knew it wasn't serious (sic) but I would rather catch a problem early if you know what I mean.
I'll keep you posted with some pics and let you know how it goes.
The strain is bubblegum.

If the yellowing rapidly spreads up your plant, you have LOCKED OUT nitrogen through over-feeding over the course of its life. (too many competing salts, or pH has been changed by those salts)
If the yellowing is RAPIDLY spreading up the plant, you SHOULD flush it and resume normal feeding.
You can easily flush a plant in any stage of its life - flush's are nothing momentous. All it does is wash salt and organics from the soil (nutes). If your soil is properly aerated, your plant will never suffer from a flush.
If the yellowing is a slow progression and you aren't leaving the bottom half of your plant bare, ignore it. Its natural - its very hard to zero in on the exact nutes each strain uses until you've played with that strain for years. If you perfectly construct some soil, or know the exact ratios throughout every stage of a plants life, you COULD keep it green the whole life.
However, rule of thumb, excess nitrogen slows flowering which is NOT something anyone wants.

Thanks 1sttime,
That's EXACTLY the kind of info I was looking for. I think I will flush as it may help the plant.
Silly question time though, Is it as simple as giving them pure water for a few "feeds"?

A flush is a one time thing; you CAN just water pure water afterwards, but your plants will be screaming for food if you flushed em really well and they've been sitting in their pots for a while.
Usually when I flush I slowly water the soil to saturation. (water little bits at a time, waiting in between, until first tiny bit of run-off is seen.)
Then I run 1.5-2 times the volume of the pot as water, through. IE, in 5 gallon pots I would run 10 gallons water through saturated soil. This all happens within an hour on the same day.
The next time I would water, I feed.
If you don't already, start feeding once every two waterings instead of every time.

Should I build up my nutes once I've flushed bearing in mind I'll be introducing PK 13/14 @ week 5 and don't want to shock them?

introduce nutes slowly, and always do 50% of recommended dose
its very easy to nute burn
