Can I ask what would be the goal of stopping income tax payments? I assume you are reffering to marijuana decriminalization and legalization.. If so then how would halting the payment of all income taxes affect this in any such manner?

How much income tax do all those users pay each year?
The Government couldn't function without that money.

They also know someday you will recieve money somehow and they will take that.
plus the money comming in from everyone is so huge It wouldn't be missed. If it was they would print more money and raise the debt.

I'd call it something else besides far-fetched. Can you say federal tax lien, penalties and interest? Here's one of those if everyone came together scenarios!

Fun Fact. In the united states there is actually no law what-so-ever that says you have to pay your taxes. Research it.
The 16th Amendment to the constitution made it constitutional to pass income tax laws.
In 1862, Congress passed the first Income Tax to help pay for the war. It was eliminated in 1872 but was revived in 1894. In 1895, the Supreme Court ruled the Income Tax unconstitutional in the case of Pollock v. Farmers' Loan & Trust Co. based on the apportionment clause.
In 1909, Congress passed the a proposal for amendment to the constitution. On February 13, 1913 the Secretary of State certified that it had been ratified and it became the 16th Amendment to the constitution.

It wouldn't. Why do you suggest doing something that they are going to come back and ream your ass for? There's the right ways to do this and then there's "high ideas".I realize this won't ever happen.

I better idea would be to stop pre-paying your taxes. Taxes are due in April, but yet many of you are voluntarily pre-paying the government. Because they central planning doesn't work they have to overcharge you. You get this nice check when your tax payment is due, which basically was an interest free loan to the government.
I tell people this all the time. For some reason people think the a large refund is a good thing.
