How long does it take to mature seeds?

Ok so here is a question been growing for a bit now and this is my first attempt at pollinating a plant. So the mother is a Sweet Hawaiian and the father a Purple Haze. I have done alot of reading and found that it should take 4-6 weeks for the seeds to mature on the plant or some people say wait tell you start seeing them pop from the calyx's. I have alot of seeds popping out of the calyx's but they are still green in color. So here is the question about how much longer will it take for them to mature as the plant is very close to being at the end of its flower cycle and was pollinated about 5.5 weeks ago. I am in the middle of week 10 with about 1 week to go until flowering is finished. I am affraid I may have pollinated too late into the flowering cycle. Should I continue to let the plant go if the seeds are not completely mature when the flower cycle is complete or will the seeds continue to mature on the plant after harvest? Any info will help thx!!
