I mean of course we'd all love to see the day where MJ doesn't have such a bad wrap and all the lies don't fill mindless heads.. but really? Do you really WANT it legal?

I have 3 steady connects and know about 4 other ones. They struggle to make money so they sell bud, like anyone else.

Sadly, they would all be out of business if it got legalized.

No dealer could compete with fat perfect machine rolled doobs that smoked perfect.

No dealer would have that "good shit" cause then when it's legalized they won't even be able to compete.

The prices on MJ would drop, which is great. Not for the dealers though.
In the end if I sat down for an hour, I'm sure the pros would outweigh the cons.

but at what cost?

No more exclusiveness, and no more underground MJ trade.
It's kind of like a rapper getting mainstream..
(which I don't mind but alot of people are 'i dont like mainstream')

Do I sound stupid? Maybe I'm just stoned and rambling, but I'm sure there are some cons of legalization none of us would enjoy.

It would be pretty sweet though.. any strain in any area.. all around the U.S.

IDK . Leave a response (:
:) :hello:  :D :o ;) :smoke:

All dealers can suck my dick if I'm growing my own or getting oz's of dank for 50 bucks. The price would drop ENORMOUSLY, and that's the only pro I need for legalization

I feel way worse for the people getting arrested over marijuana possession than I would for the dealers that would lose their income. :P

It's a small price to pay, really. :confused_2:

Fuck the dealers. Are you serious OP?
Dealers are just lazy fuckers that don't have what it takes to deliver pizzas so they just sit at home, ignore phone calls and get stoned for free.

It needs to be legalized and regulated just like alcohol.

It's not getting stoned for free, and plenty of dealers have good jobs.

I live in a college town so perhaps my experiences are different than yours.
But the kids I know selling, are just lazy kids who pay their rent selling weed.

Legalization no, decriminalization yes

A problem I can see with it being legalized is that the government wouldn't make it legal without getting their greedy hands on a profit. I believe they would enforce restrictions and make it hard for the average person to be able to grow their own weed, then corporate companies would get involved and grow and sell theirs and make advertisements promoting their product and making false statements like the media tends to do... long story short i don't want to see companies like pfizer getting involved with the cannabis industry

If it was legal, it'd be alot easier to get a job for most of us. We wouldn't have to worry about failing a drug test anymore, no bullshit fines, it'd be cheap as fuck, we wouldnt be looked at as a bunch of criminals, smoke in public without a worry. So what if some dealers don't have a job and cant make money other then selling. Tough luck. I would rather have it legal it'd be best for all of us tokers.

I mean when I moved to a mmj state my weed prices dropped in half. From 20 a g to 10$.

I conclude it'll be cheaper !

I would love for MJ to be legalized like everyone else, but a bit of the culture would go missing. I don't know about everyone else here, but I for one actually like my dealers. I'd miss meeting up with them and chatting while we match a bowl or two. Plus I've had some crazy-ass missions that wouldn't have happened if MJ were legal. My only real complaint is that it's considered a criminal offense.

I would rather it decriminalised just to take serious trouble out of it.

While I don't feel too much sympathy for most dealers, some of them I've encountered have been good people as the op says, just straightforward cool people that give you access to what you're looking for.
Some of them have jobs, some do not - that doesn't really matter though...the only negativity I have towards them, is towards the bad examples anyways.
Though yes, them losing their income is a small part of the concern to me.

The moment it goes legal, in my opinion...
People will have to be registered as users, so if/when the law flips back on itself, they have your information.
Things will become standardised...sure this might mean you'd only ever have "safe" weed, but I believe that if it were produced with the govt having their fingers in it, it would become more generic and weak, so that they can justify having anything to do with it.
It would likely be open to commercial additives as well.
There would probably be an increase in tobacco sales as well by selling mixed cigs...which of course they would, it's all money right?
I also think it would become subject to occasional price hikes for no apparent reason - just like they've done with cigarettes. They want more money, they get more. Say what you will about the "illegal" side of weed, at least the price doesn't shoot up all the time...it has done, but it's pretty stable.

It's decriminalized here and I'm still paying almost 20 a g for dank. Prop 19 allowed anyone over 21 to grow or buy it. Prices were speculated to drop to about 40 bucks an oz with a 50 dollar per oz proposed tax it would have still been oz of dank for less than 100 bucks. That was close to passing so a better constructed bill in a few years will be passed. Public opinion is only shifting in our favor.
