Not sure if this has been mentioned already or not, but Bitcoin would be absolutely perfect for seed orders. It's universal cryptocurrency and cannot be tracked. It's used all over the world and is really becoming a big deal. The Pre-paid credit card and giftcard situation has gotten out of hand due to all the online gambling. I cant find one that will work at vendors that accept credit cards and gift cards. Ordering seeds has become a real hassle as I don't want to use my regular credit card and a lot of places I want to order seeds from don't accept CC's anyway. Sending money orders isn't ideal either. One place I came across recommended sending the money order overnight or two day airmail via dhl etc. Huge hassle there for sure. Bitcoin is the answer to all our payment problems, it's quick and painless How can we get some of our favorite vendors to start accepting it?
Why is using a normal visa card not the way to go, if you have one. It's protected from fraud. It has buyer protection and you can reverse the charges if you have to. It's easy. The purchase always says 'gift' from a 'gift shop' for the bank. When seeds are taken at the international borders, they do not come to your house, they send you a nasty note of seizure and that's it. The online storefronts operate in legal countries, where selling cannibus seeds is legal. Those storefronts are not running into legal problems, your information isn't going anywhere, no one wants it. No one is going to arrive at your door because you bought seeds with the banks credit card, in most big cities the law would have to drive past three crackhouses and a brothel just to get to you.
Actually in America they are, but all they ever do is seize them at the border, they don't come looking for you. Where they are sold from they are legal.

There are places where you can pay with Bitcoins but IMO its not worth it, Bitcoins can be expensive if you buy them and mining them is hard work these days
I agree with the differing circumstances thing. But if getting a 4x6x2 inch non-descript, no odour, plain old box delivered to your house is difficult, imagine trying to hide a reeking 4 ft plant... If you are ill equiped to handle getting a packet of seeds emotionally or mentally, imagine the stress level of hiding all the equipment needed to raise it indoors. Even a plant outside is started inside, and all of them take extra ammendments, nutrients or some sort, soil fluffers and drainers, poles, netting, and other purchases that are hard to keep hidden away. Buying the seeds is step one of a five mile run...and it's the easiest step.
i whole-heartedly agree with you. most are unaware of the difficulties and needs to be successful at horticulture. alot more than water and dirt.
Actually I've found one site that would accept bitcoins!!!! try www.drgreenstore.com I've done 2 purchases so far with them paying with BTC, and both orders have arrived... with free feminized seeds as gift (very happy of the genetics they have offered: Cheese and Northern Lights auto) Apparently they are from Spain which is a country where selling weed seeds is legal!
use a drop house +prepaid debit card to some random fake name... bitcoins wont be any more secure when its still being shipped to your address it is good to use a fake name though, i used to get a lot of seeds in the mail, at one point like 3 packges a week minimum... and i have had seeds get delivered to the wrong address... one time a guy brought the package to me without opening it though, which was nice. so yeah use a drop for everything if there is even a suspicion, use a drop. (you will need tracking for a drop thoiugh, unless you want to check it every day)
^^^^^^^^^^^^ Looks like spam to me. Unless you already got the bitcoins for cheap then they can make buying seeds even more expensive. I'd rather just use the trusted seed banks than mess around with bitcoins for seeds.

In days i searched where to buy seeds anonymously with bitcoins and have found a cannabis seeds shop with bicoins payment. Just wait....it's going to be more mainstream....ppl who say "buying a bitcoin is expensive and mining is difficult" dont know wtf theyre talking about....u dont need to buy a full bitcoin and you dont need to ever mine them. I am actually working on this too so im involved. and actually to the people who are so certain that nothing will happen, i assume that you use a credit/debit card with all your real information and you have it sent straight to your grow then correct? you are pretty trusting of your government lol, you do know the incarceration rates for marijuana related offenses in the US right? Bitcoin to pay and stay anonymous, or use your personal information to have federally illegal contraband sent to your doorstep, where you grow.... and if you live on the west coast and still need to order shitty genetics from the UK you need to get off the computer more
