  1. Pre 98 Bubba Kush

    30+ days into 12/12

    Fox farm happy frog soil

Botanicare nutrient line, only fed once in flower so far transplanted from 1G in veg to 3 G in flower.

I use RO water and Calmag when feeding. Should I use Calmag every watering?

I think I fucked up because I forgot to add calmag except for that one feeding during week 2 of flowering. Could this be the simple source to all my problems?

Generally Ive noticed no problems until about half way through flower after the plants have settled into there new 3 G pots. Leaves start to yellow and the whole plant buds and all start to yellow from the top down. inside the plant and lower leaves dont turn yellow. After the yellowing comes the Purples strips and generally the leaves dry up and die completely. Ive been wracking my brain over this for quite some time now and I'm really hoping that I've just been going too light on the Cal Mag. This is not the only strain that has shown these issues, but now that I think about it most of my plants get yellow prematurely in flower, but not all get necrotic and deathly, usually just seems like N def.

  2. I think ur spot on. Mayb u could load up on the N a lill more b for flower,,carry her thru a little more.

  3. I kinda did that last time and ended up with way too much N in flower. And actually many of these plants have pretty dark Nitrogen rich leaves in the inside and lower end of the plant.

I've studied that chart and my leaves look like all of them to me lol:smoke:

  4. lol well damn..

  5. anyone figure this out? or know more about it?

i have a pre 98 bubba that is doing the same. my friends have the same clone and they all have the same issue... no matter how much the ph is spot on, the temp is on, and the nutes are balanced out.
im convinced that there is something about this strain that makes the leaves do this.
anyone got any info about this, or experience the same?

  6. Any time something happens from the top down, it's a non-mobile element demand that cannot be met, because only the mobile elements can be relocated in a plant. NPK are the mobile ones, and when there is demand and a need to move elements, it moves them from the bottom on the plant to the top where it's needed. So your tops are discolouring and the lower growth is ok still, not it's not Nitrogen, Phosphorous or Potassium. You plant need a micro nutrient feed, because what ever it needs, it's not in the soil or your solution. I'd go find a micro that contains iron, manganese, magnesium, cobalt, selenium, zinc and what have you. They will be fine.
