I think it is none sense.

People think they are free because of some piece of paper says they are free.

No piece of paper is going to save your ass in a time of disaster. The government that sells you your freedom off this piece of people will be on a plane to some unknown bunker while chaos breaks out.

Tell me, if your looking down a barrel of a gun, do you think about how some peace of paper or government is going to save your life?

If that piece of paper wasnt there, is that then implying we would all be locked up like animals in cages?

I just dont get it. We are being sold freedom because we think it comes from this piece of paper.

That peace of paper does not stretch further then mans word. Simple rules dont have any true place in the jungle. A lion does not follow rules when it hunts, we are programmed to be this way. To think this way. If we understood our true place in the jungle, we would have no government. They would fear us.

As long as people die, we will soon, someday, experience real freedom

I hear a lot of complaining about how bad America is & how she sucks. Fair enough, but how many of you are leaving the country? or have left already?
What country would you move to if you had the oportunity? and why?

OMG Americans don't know what their constitution states... What you see right now as a situation in the US is not what the constitution states. The government has raped the constitution and because people have no idea or can't read it or are lazy enough to read it they don't know that there are many laws that are unconstitutional. The income tax is one. There are many many more, just read it and compare with the laws right now. The constitution gives the power to the people. Now, USA is a police state - 180 degrees to what it was supposed to be. People flaming the constitution for the current situation are extremely ignorant. Just read the damn paper.

Dude, they covered that in the Constitution, it's called the Second Amendment, they put that shit in there to make their paper mean something.

If the people are armed then then government is at OUR mercy

Agree with this. Our government hasn't given a shit about the constitution for over 100 years now. It's got mostly good ideas in it, but it's not followed. Prohibition for example, is unconstitutional. Doesn't stop our government from spending billions of dollars a year to enforce it and ruin thousands of lives a year in the process.

I think that all governments will eventually devolve into oligarchies. The only way to prevent it is to make a new one every 50 years or so.

If I'm looking down the barrel of a gun, I'm thinking, "dammit, didn't reach mine fast enough".

The Constitution does not grant you rights. It lays out what they are. It is up to YOU to protect your rights. That's what the 2nd Amendment is for. Get as many guns as you can, for you, family, and friends. They are working on making them illegal for citizens to own. But if you already have them, and know how to use them, it will be harder for them to confiscate, amiright?

I hear a lot of complaining about how bad America is & how she sucks. Fair enough, but how many of you are leaving the country? or have left already?

Some people would rather fix the problem than run away from it.

People think they are free because of some piece of paper says they are free.

Well since that 'paper' dictates our civil liberties and court decisions, they're correct.

No piece of paper is going to save your ass in a time of disaster. The government that sells you your freedom off this piece of people will be on a plane to some unknown bunker while chaos breaks out.

Yeah no shit. Nowhere in the constitution does it say "You'll never die."
No government guarantees that. LOL

Tell me, if your looking down a barrel of a gun, do you think about how some peace of paper or government is going to save your life?

The constitution grants me the right to bear arms and protect myself.

If that piece of paper wasnt there, is that then implying we would all be locked up like animals in cages?

You have a very simplistic, middle school view of the word 'freedom'. Read a book sometime.

I just dont get it. We are being sold freedom because we think it comes from this piece of paper.

The constitution grants you rights every single day. Nobody is 'selling' you freedom.
Paying taxes just gives you the right to live here.

To think this way. If we understood our true place in the jungle, we would have no government. They would fear us.

The jungle thing is a horrible analogy. We're modern humans, and one purpose of government is to have a civilized society that is very unlike a jungle.

As long as people die, we will soon, someday, experience real freedom

You might want to elaborate on that a little bit. LOL

This is maybe the most ignorant shit I've ever read.

If I were to move to another country it would be Canada. Nationwide medical marijuana, gay marraige, free healthcare, and no wars with countries that pose you no threat? Hell yes!

I like how your a Ron Paul fan but your knocking the constitution... If Paul becomes president (which sadly seems to be unlikely now) he will follow the constitution like the pope does the bible. Now STFU and go actually read the constitution and bill of rights because it was written to protect us from our own government. 'MERICA!!!

Oh, has it?

You should do some reading on countries that don't guarantee the rights that the consitution does us.

Let us know if you want to live there any time soon.

The thing is the constitution protects us from the government, but us the people have to protect the constitution. Which we aren't doing and thats why we are slowly losing our rights.

Dear god I hope not. The pope doesn't follow the bible at all lol.

And btw the Constitution doesn't protect us from anything. It's a document. It lays out which rights must be protected, and how to protect them. The Constitution isn't the protection itself.
