Would adding oxygen to the water instead of just air improve the quality of the buds? I am thinking that delivering the oxygen to the air pump for distribution might improve the grow and be worth the cost of a used oxygen gen.

Roots can only take in so much oxygen. I've read about it in the past, and it doesn't seem worth it. Even putting 50% oxygen to the roots causes them to curl on themselves and be unhealthy.

A simple air stone and pump does excellent, and I don't think supplementing oxygen to the roots would show a result that's worth the cost.
