The Culture High (Union sequel!!)

The makers of "The Union: The Business Behind Getting High" will make a new better, documentary if they get the funds they need. I'm not personally going to buy it but I figured a lot of people on GC would like to know about it.

If it comes out I am definitely going to see it. $35 seems a little steep tho...

It's coming out for sure, they already finished filming it. The only toss up is whether or not it will be in theaters. I don't know where you got 35 bucks from either, unless you're talking about the kickstarter page, which I doubt will be the price of the dvd once it's released.
There's a few other threads about this already.

They should of named it The High Culture (THC).

They just finished received funding so I'm guessing production and research will start then a release so at least a few months.

I'm guessing it's gonna come out next summer haha. Or at the very earliest next spring. I'm glad they got to the 190k mark though.

They started interviews and filming at the beginning of September. They said it won't be ready for 18 months (?) if I remember correctly. Don't kill me if I'm wrong. I think that what they said. And it would make sense cause they're putting a lot more effort into this one than they did the union because they're trying to make this one an actual movement/push for decriminalization or legalization
