Funny, emotional and thrilling.
Blows away the previous kiddie Spider-man movies by a wide margin.

He skateboards ;3
Peter never skateboarded in the comics.
But it was very nicely incorpprated so I liked it.
He had some pretty nice moves too.

Spidey goes toe to toe with a 8 foot, 500 pound lizard and stands his ground.
Then you realize he's just a high school student too shy to talk to girls.

I still think the first two movies can't be beat but I was very surprised with how good this movie was.

The first one has a 89% on rotten tomatoes and the second has a 93%.
What's so horrible about the films? If it was targeted for children then it would have been rated PG.
EDIT: If were talking about gearing the film towards kids, do I have to remind you about the completely unnecessary skateboarding sequences?

Yeah but the first one has a 64% user rating at rotten tomatoes.
and there's a difference between having Parker skateboard to make him relatable to teenagers and using the dramatic tone of a Sesame Street episode.

Haha, if you think the first two Spider-man films had the dramatic tone of a Sesame Street episode then I must be watching the wrong Sesame Street.
And the first one has an 89%

And a bunch of construction workers lining up their cranes to help Spider-Man reach the tower in time isn't cheesy as fuck?
