So i had a magnificent crop ready to go outdoors this year as you can see if you follow my sig but unfortunately things happened and i've had to start from scratch. Basically i had my spot picked, moved my plants in then i came down with appendicitis. That took me outta commission for about 2 weeks (surgeries a bitch) and when i returned to my plot nothing remained living. I believe it was a combination of sudden direct sunlight and no watering which quickly dried my solo cup clones bone dry. Anyways, i said goodbye to my hefty 10 plant crop and started 2 late seeds, one Cali Hash Plant and one Sweet Deep Grapefruit both by Dinafem. They have been in soil now for about 3 weeks in 5 gal buckets. The Hash Plant is doing quite well while the Sweet Deep Grapefruit seems to be a mutant with very odd shaped leaves. Although it is mutated I'm going to grow it out and see what happens. I also germinated another unknown seed i had lying around but it is even farther behind and i don't know what will come of it but non the less I've put it in soil. Anyways here are some pics, tell me what you think!

Hey GC!

Been a couple of days now. Not to much has changed. The Cali Hash Plant has shown some growth and the mutated plant is also growing a bit but in an odd pattern. The other bucket (yellow) will be for a Dinafem Roadrunner (it's an auto) that will be starting soon and may ultimately end up in a small grow cabinet for the end of flower come September

Me Too! I Can't Wait! although I'm not pleased about the Grapefruit... it has sort of gotten better but not by leaps and bounds by any means, but at least its improvement. Also my third in the 3gal is a Dinafem Roadrunner (auto), it should be showing itself sometimes this week, although i don't know how its going to yield. I'm just glad the Cali Hash Plant is doing good! it's a solid 16" now which is about double the first pic a week earlier. I really hope it continues to thrive!

Also i figured i would drop in a bit of information about the grow now since i haven't said to much. Its peat based Pro Mix BX with added perlite and that's it for amendments. As you can see I'm using 5gal buckets that i will probably be putting in the ground if i feel they're getting close to root bound. So far i have only used some Voodoo Juice from AN but soon i will be adding General Organics BioThrive Grow and Bloom and that's about all. that's pretty much there is to my grow... I get water from a pond then bring the pH down a bit with standard pH down. It's basically outdoor peat based drain to waste hydro until it goes into the ground at some point.

That's all for now,

Hey GC

So the Cali Hash Plant is still doing good and the Sweet Deep Grapfruit is coming along as well. It seems however I've had a critter problem and my third, in the 3gal pale, was destroyed after the something decided to dig it up before it even sprouted. I'm not concerned though i still got the other two.

Anyways here are the latest pics

Hey GC!

It's been 2 weeks since i started this journal and both plants are doing alright now. The Sweet Deep Grapefruit has started to grow quite well and is starting to flower, which seems a tad bit early. The Cali Hash Plant in bushing out very nicely and is looking quite promising! Anyways here are some pics!

Hey GC!

The SDG is still flowering along and the CHP was moved to its permanent home in the ground. The hole was easily 20+ gal and i back filled with a mixture of pro-mix bx, compost, cow manure, dried kelp, decaying wood, top soil, perlite and some of the red clay that came out of the hole. so here are some pics:

Hey Pysphere,
Looks like the salvage is shaping up well, but i have a coupple ??'s... Were these seeds attitude freebies? Reason is, I just grew out a SDG(attitude freebie), a friend did too, and they looked identical to each other, but nothing like your SDG. Im going to go out on a limb and say thats not even close to SDG, way, way too sativa leaf pattern and nodal spacing..Ive grown the sweettooth too, and it should look similar, it just doesnt...maybe u got an auto seed mislabeled as SDG or its just flowering from that early mutant stress u mentioned earlier...
Attitude freebies get screwed up sometimes, Is why i ask... The Cali Hash looks to be the real deal, tho..
Keep it up...

hey GNug!

yea this one was a freebie from attitude. i was also suspicious of the strain for the same reasons. I grew out another SDG earlier this year in my failed attempt from a separate purchase and it was WAY more Indica (link in my sig) which i'm confident was legit. I also I'm pretty positive this one is autoflowering which was unexpected but kind of welcomed!

hey d-dog!

Thanks for the well wishes! I'm pretty excited to watch these plants mature! The small one in the 5 gal bucket is starting to flower pretty nicely so I'm pretty sure its auto flower cause the bigger hash plant hasnt shown any signs of sex yet! Anyways thanks for stopping by!

Hey GC! Update Time!!

The Cali Hash Plant hasn't done much since the transplant into the ground and lost a few limbs to some critter and has a few holes in the leaves from pests. To deal with the critter problem i have wrapped the site in wire fencing. To help with the leaves i have applied a neem oil spray. Regarding the Neem Oil, can anyone tell me how long it is safe to use it? since the plant hasn't started to flower i felt safe applying a fairly generous dose but i don't know if i can continue the neem oil treatments into flower? also how often would you suggest applying it? Anyways heres some pics of the California Hash Plant!

The Auto is coming along nicely and seems to be gaining girth every time i check on it. We had some pretty wild weather here so i did a very gentle LST sort of tie down to minimize any damage done by the weather. Also i backtracked through my seed collection and it seems that I still have my SDG freebie and have concluded that it was a G13 Auto Pineapple Express, which explains alot. Anyways here's pics of the Auto PE

Hey GC!

So i watered my Cali Hash Plant today and fed the Auto PE for the first time. I gave it 3 gal of 750ppm General Organics BioThrive Bloom solution. To address the slight bug problem i applied need oil twice over the last 4 days. Also, I finished putting up the fence around the CHP as you can see in the pictures below to stop whatever was munchin' on my leaves. I will also be doing a fairly delicate LST soon to the CHP which has shown it is indeed a female!!!

Anyways, Here are pics

Hey GC!

So far so good! I built a better structure for the fence around the Cali Hash Plant as you can see. Also I think I'm only 2 weeks or so away from harvesting the Auto PE... it won't be the greatest yeilder... I'm guessing 10-14 grams... any one one else care to wager a guess? My Auto PE is from G13 and it is quite small however this one could have probably been bigger but it went its first 2 weeks in far less than ideal light. I have another G13 Auto PE seed that I hope to germinate soon indoors in a small 32" Tall x 32" Wide x 16" Deep cabinet with a 135W Blackstar LED and 175cfm inline fan with 14" Carbon Filter. The current one hasn't come close to being root bound in this 5gal bucket outdoors so i'm pretty sure i can get away with a 3gal bucket with Coco/Perlite.
